Signature Funding Solutions divides business in two as part of expansion – Mortgage Strategy

Signature Funding Solutions has split its offering into two specialist brands as its expansion plans continue.
The company was set up by Dean Birks in 2009 to support residential house purchases, remortgages and advice for protection products.
The first brand will be Signature Mortgages and Protection will be committed to predominately regulated activities such as residential mortgages, buy-to-let (BTL), self builds as well as various protection products.
Meanwhile, the second, Signature Specialist Finance, will have a team of experts for commercial and semi-commercial properties, supported living, social housing, care homes, development finance, unregulated bridging and refurbishment products.
It will also focus on more complex BTL facilities such as houses with multiple occupation, multi-unit freehold blocks and auction finance.
As part of the growth and new brand identities, two new advisers have joined the team of 12 this month. The company says it plans to continue its recruitment drive.
Commenting on this, Birks says: “Over the years we have seen increased demand for our specialist advice and lending facilities as well as to provide more support to investors.”
“This added to all of our developments; it was only natural to give our specialist arm of the business its own unique identity.”
“This means that we now have specialist teams for our mortgages and protection as well as our specialist finance — which is a wonderful thing to be able to introduce – not just for our team – but for our customers too.”
“One of the most important aims of the business is to provide the best, most suited support to others – not just to invest in property – but ultimately to help others to fulfil their dreams.”
“Therefore, we invest in our own team to ensure they have the right knowledge and expertise to achieve and grow with us at the same time, which has led to many of our team forging amazing relationships with customers.”
